We foster the development of future tax advisors and lawyers: Andrzej Paczuski, partner at Paczuski Taudul, delivered a lecture for participants of “Tax Bridges” (Mosty Podatkowe) - a nationwide initiative of law students from the three largest universities in Poland. The meeting focused on family foundations - their role, structure, and importance in succession planning for family-owned businesses.
“Tax Bridges” (Mosty Podatkowe) is a nationwide educational initiative created by students from three universities: the University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University, and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Its goal is to bridge the gap between academia and tax advisory practice through expert meetings, workshops, and lectures. As part of this initiative, Andrzej Paczuski, a tax advisor and partner at Paczuski Taudul, delivered a lecture devoted to family foundations - a topic that is becoming increasingly important in the context of business succession in Poland. The participants - several dozen law and economics students - had an opportunity to learn about the practical operation of a family foundation, its legal framework, and its tax implications. The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, during which Andrzej Paczuski shared his experience in advising family businesses.
