Paczuski Taudul as a strategic partner of the debate “State and law – contemporary issues, challenges and threats”
Paczuski Taudul joined as a strategic partner of the Disputatio Iuridica event entitled “State and law – contemporary issues, challenges and threats”, hosted by the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. The debate, focusing on the rule of law and judicial independence, brought together leading representatives of legal academia and the judiciary.
The discussion took place on 4 December 2025 at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. The speakers included: Marek Safjan, Professor, former President of the Constitutional Tribunal and former Judge of the Court of Justice of the European Union, Marcin Wiącek, Professor at the University of Warsaw, Commissioner for Human Rights, Stanisław Zabłocki, Judge of the Supreme Court (retired), Marta Romańska, Professor at the Jagiellonian University, Judge of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court.
During the debate, participants discussed topics including the rule of law, the implementation of European court judgments, judicial independence, judicial impartiality, and ethical standards in legal professions. The discussion also examined the impact of the institutional crisis in the Supreme Court on the functioning of the self-governing bodies of professions of public trust.
According to the participants, the objective of the debate was not only to deepen substantive knowledge, but also to create a forum for the exchange of experience between representatives of the legal community, public institutions, state authorities, self-governing bodies of professions of public trust, and the business community - entities for which the law plays a significant role.
