Maciej Grochulski

Maciej Grochulski spent nearly ten years in the tax administration, first at the Tax Chamber in Warsaw and later as the Head of the Indirect Taxes Department (2004–2007) at one of the tax offices responsible for large taxpayers. At the same time, between 2001 and 2003, he served at the Ministry of Finance as one of the tax trainers responsible for preparing the Polish tax administration for Poland’s accession to the European Union.

Since the beginning of his career, he has focused on value added tax (VAT) and tax litigation matters. He is the author of numerous publications in professional press on VAT, general tax law and tax procedure.

Maciej graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and is a licensed tax advisor. He has also completed postgraduate studies in European Union tax law at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
